The Bird Shack
|
A little
beach style home for garden birds.
All the wood is reclaimed and used in a way that retains
it’s colour and character.
The front panel
is removable.
Nesting tits like an enclosed box with a small entrance hole.
Remove the pins and take the panel out to attract robins and
other birds who prefer a more open aspect.
Position the bird shack about 8ft from the ground with the
entrance out of the prevailing wind.
Choose
a spot that is not accessible for cats and where you can watch
the birds without disturbing them.

Twig Villa
|
This is
a house for birds that prefer to keep a low profile. It has
small holes drilled in the sides and the roof and a selection
of twigs to poke into them. The result is a camouflaged house
with a choice of natural perches.
The front
panel is removable.

been protected with raw linseed oil.

Each one has a slightly different personality and is mounted on a piece of reclaimed sea defense wood.
Legs & beaks are oiled hardwood and re-Gull has been waterproofed with varnish so good for indoor or outdoor posing.

Bird Shack Feeder

Any discerning garden bird in need of a snack would love to been seen feeding at this beach hut style bird cafe. The shack is made from recycled wood with a rubber flap at the back to cover the seed feed opening. The birds can perch on the front under the canopy as they devour the seeds from the gravity-fed seed tray. It has a hook for hanging and is coated with clear varnish for a long life.
