Twig
Villa
This is a house for birds that prefer to keep a low profile. It
has small holes drilled in the sides and the roof and a selection
of twigs to poke into them. The result is a camouflaged house with
a choice of natural perches.
The front panel is removable.
Nesting tits like an enclosed box with a small entrance hole. Remove
the pins and take the panel out to attract robins and other birds
who prefer a more open aspect. The exterior has been protected with
raw linseed oil.
Position the twig villa about 8ft from the ground
with the entrance out of the prevailing wind. Choose a spot that
is not accessible to cats and one where you can watch the birds
without disturbing them.
